Totally standard technique used far too many times in so many stupid serials to drag it out to fill time. The technique of zooming in individually on all key actors’ closeups with some stupid low frequency music after each sentence. To even claim that in modern India of today, the laws take a backseat to some other set of unique rules for “Raj Purohit” is utter nonsense and only serves to perpetuate the “agnyan”. And whatever happened to that Kahana who encouraged Radhika to “accept” Dev’s advances. Did he not know these “Raj Purohit” rules? What if Devika blurts out thetruth and Ammaji disavows any knowledge of it. Wouldn’t that create a “my word angainst your word” situation? Had it not been for certain good looking actors in the serial, I would have long since stopped watching the show as I have done with many of them before.

OMG! what a day to start with? My mind is so messed up with the stupid chachaji. Atleast, I hope the writer and director will enlighten our weekends with atleast a confession by ma to shashtriji without amma’s interference. If this happens,………. then….. there could not be any more happier news to me than this. After this, when Rad’s jaat, kul comes to picture, there would be another shocking twists like Rad being Babi’s sis. Just tired of speculating too much. If they would have made all this engagement ceremony in the first marriage atleast, Dev would have seen whom he is entitled to marry and not got a shock in first night. This is excellent…if it is wrong for a Raj Prohit to marry another woman while his legal wife is alive…then Vishshaka cannot and never could be Dev’s wife, ever, unless they, as in the crooks here, kill Rads.
I think this would be the only real reason for the truth to be revealed. How so? firstly, Devkiji, secondly the photograph and finally, the little boy. I think this twist is wonderfully depicted by the writer. I realise that it is painful to watch this episode but the truth must be revealed so that Mirnali, Shushil and that good for nothing son of his will be left speechless…perhaps once for all. If I had it my way, Dev’s brother should just divorce that wife of his…she’s unbearable and uncouth to the core.
I do however wonder what Kahnaji is up to…he must have something up his sleeves too…that is if the writer thought of kahnaji at this point.

I am from New Zealand and am also an indian, new here. I got hooked up to CB since Jan 09 and since then i never miss any episode. For me, CB seemed a very natural flow of storyline and ofcourse the casts (esp Avinash & Rubina) performance was so superb. Like you all i love to watch Avinash. I always read all the comments posted by you all, and finally i thot to get registered and let Avinash know he does have a fan in NZ as well…Lol.
I also go thru the same emotions you all go thru so i wont mention how gutted i feel by watching 27th Aug episode. I so hope for once i cud see Dev and Rads happy, lets see wat happens in episodes to come.

he come to sa for the bridal fair which we hold every year, had a feeling i was going to meet him so i dressed up in punjabi, make up and all
he and visk modeled for the show, he was shocked to see so many fans, he was lost for words
came to zee tv stand to sign augraph, too many people, took him away, we stood for over an hour outside the vip lounge, eventually calling him, he had to come,vish came first then him,
could not hold myself, saw someone i knew next to him and got his attention to get me an augph, dev was looking at me then him, he was confused because he knew we were talking about him, this guy refused,
had to get dev atten. flagged him with the augh card, once i got his att, had to sign language because of the noise, told him to sign, he said no, come tomorro, i refused, said today, he said he got to fly, i said no, got to do it today, then i did something unintentional and he had to call me and someone else, we were put in the vip lounge and locked up.
the then entered, walking towards me, pointing his finger, smiling and saying only because of u, u, i called u up. was frozen, could not speak, just put my hands to my cheeks and kept on saying, cant believe its u,it is it u, cant belive it,
think he knew i was shocked, he opened his arms and went right into his arms, i as hot, flusted, out of this world experience.
he asked me for my card, signed it and saw to the other, we and sat next to him, we took out a photo that the one that is blare, so disappointed,
hugged me again, the again before he left.
really really wonderful person, words cannot describe him. love him to bits

This is coming so late…I do agree that we should not get too emotionally entangled with the serial as it is just a serial. I however, have this belief that somewhere in the world, snippets of these people’s lives are mirrored. It’s like literature, we read between and beyond the lines. We connect it to our lives…in some ways, it gets us thinking about our principles, beliefs and needs…Maslow’s theory!!!
To me, I am totally awed with the language and culture…I’d like to know more but I guess not many people are into it as they are familiar with it. I do read up to find out more…i.e Meera’s role in Kahna’s life. It was interesting and new knowledge for me. Thank you for your acknowledgement. Rads24 use to share his/her views but I guess he/she has found some whereelse to trade his views. Thanks. take care and stay safe.
