Gooooood Morning!
Just as you all have been predicting, Vish is setting herself up to go to Purohit parivar in Delhi, has already obtained Mrinalini’s permission for it and a bus ticket to go there after all doors in Brindavan – including Purab’s – are closed for her. Mrinalini thinks Vish wants to come to Delhi as choti bahu and can’t wait to receive Vish for her own shadyantra. Vish’s reason for not going to B’bay still not revealed.

CDA Bhai…. you are a celebraty too. You have met so many people and have such good memories to share with us. Please do not take me wrong…. I mean it sincerely from the bottom of my heart.

The vegas trip was a good deal, it ws if u buy 3 nites,,, 4th nite was free. It worked out well. I liked venetian too, that gondola ride…. and that half french and half english spoke person singing…..all the way from start to end… OMG!!! I don’t like that. but its my husband’s favorite casino, especially the gondola ride… he thinks he feels very romantic in the boat while that stupid french guy/gal singing…. honestly it gives me head ache…. and just want to shut up that guy singing and let me look around peacefully…. see… I told u before, my husband and I are totally diff tastes people my husband can become very easily romantic….. while I am constantly worried about chores and pickups/drops……. if there is a load of dry laundery sitting inthe dryer…. I cannot relax until I fold them and put them in places…. but…it does not bother my husband anything….. he knows… his wife takes care of everything…..

Thnaks for all those casinos suggestion…. I told my brother to go and enjoy each and every casinos, and to watch that pirate show….. haven’t talked to him today…. but looks like they are having fun there.
I think I writing too much today…. chalo I will not bore ya’ll. I am going take the kids for the park and my son has holiday party today at school…. and later I will take my neice and nephew to that school party. They will have fun.

ya’ll have a good/nite and day. Will connect back later/tomorrow.

Like Soshi said, u will find yr niche one day so hang in thr. n if it makes u feel in bettr i am way behind in the mommy’s league coz my kids r in jr high n elem still. the day i ship my kids to college (like thts happening sooner) i am gonna fly solo to Las Vegas or take a cruise with my GFs. will book hubby somewhr too to go hv some fun with his buddies.
Reg finding yr own thing to do, i hv my dance which has helped me create a niche for myself. I hv been dancing since 4 yrs old n havent stopped since. its my passion n is in my blood too (my mom is a bharat natyam dancer and my granfather ws involvd in theatre n movies). Dance is a tool tht has helped me create my own identity n being able to continue it here in the US ws nothing short of a miracle fr me. i devote most of my free time taking classes, teaching bollywd dance, doing shows fr NGOs n local communities and hv this huge dance grp friends tht are my best buddies now.
So my dear Nethra, i knw u feel bogged down bt look at the brighter side….how many of us moms wld lv to hv tht one on one time with our kids. u r so lucky!! during the holidays whn kids r home, i feel miserable hving to go to wk. so imagine tht n hope it makes u feel a little happier.

nethra-u and i have so many things in common, my house is mess too right now, my bedroom is like . i dont know where to begain. it took me tuesday whole day to just look through all the mails pay bills, etc…have pilles of clothes to wash and fold. i cnat even sleep in peace. so many things to do be4 leave for india. still have to shop to for my little one.
as soon as i got here, my husband started giving me list to do….i m like whatever, let me finish this then come to me….

this is in reply to yr comment #7. my dear girl, me n yr hubby r lost twins jo kumbh ke mele mein kkho gaye the. on the other hand, you n my hubby belong in the mad house. u both need to take a chill pill, samjhi?? life is short, whn will u realize tht?? its nt all abt cleaning the pool, the backyd, the house, the cars, the dog, the kids, whtevr you can gt yr hands on 24/7… (in yr case yr list of chores has cleaning, laundry, drop off, pick up n cooking on it like all of us) BUT you need to find some time for fun n romance n excitemt too coz one day we will all wake up n realise tht life has gone past us like this n we didnt notice coz we were too busy shinning the tiles in our pool.
BTW, can you set up an appt for my hubby to talk to yr hubby and u need to get over here so tht i can teach you to have some fun aftr taking care of yr family.

Just got back from groceries with the little ones…. got all their favorites….. they are very well behaved kids….thank god…

Rubina u r so funny girl…. remember I lived in CA for 16 + yrs and still ws the same(
vegas and hollywood so close) , except I was working making good money, kids in private (challenger school) and ofcourse we always went vacation….hawaaii… but not the kind u are talking about…. my husband loves to be in pool sipping whatever it is wine/beer , well i AM worried sitting in the pool about that stupid chlorine gooing to do to my skin…

Hey I am like that… I was very good in the bigining of our marraige…. but u know, my husband does not even lift a paper in my hoouse… he never even went groceries….. so I got into habit of cleaning and all the other work…. And I am a kind of person…. would want things in their places….. its irritates me if not,,,,, to that my kids are same like me… in house keeping… even my son…. I am so glad that they did not get any from their father…

look, I have everything in place very moderatley…. I don’t like anything too much…. makes me sick got it…. unlike my husband who wants to enjoy evryday…. as if there is no tomorrow mumtaz is my husband’s fav actress, just my listening to Rajesh khanna and mumtaaz songs…. my husband would become emotional or romantic…… what a bunch of bulonee just kidding… that’s how he is….very sweet, excep these days.. bcos of econimy he has become stingy….. hey, rubina… looks like the conversation is going from where to where….

rubina- u r so correct, life is very short so we should enjoy. but i do feel same way as nethra. i like perfect house, it makes me feel like my house is even happy and smiling with me. neat and clean. my son is same way too
nethra-my husband is just like urs, never lift papers, help vacume or anything at all in the house. i have to push and push and push him to get to do things. i think its men thing…. feel like kick some times. right now looking at the room i dont know what to say to him,i think i was better off in CA where i had lots of fun. even we had 2 kids but it was very nice and clean. here no kid and its messy.

rubina- i had lots of fun there, we dropped the kids to the school till 1 pm and went out 4 lunch, shopping messages, meni-pedi, movie, etc…..i cant believe there was this place where they r offering message for only $15. but they did very very good job at it. i loved it very much. they did accupunture point message, thats very cheap. i will 4 sure miss that.

quitely I had fun during college days, I used to be very pretty, very shapy body and very well dressed girl…(was and is… very dress conscience) very unusually in a engg college…. guys bahut line marthethe….. I knew all that and enjoyed quitely without even letting them know that I knew… each and evryone of them who were madly wanted to speak to me and …. They all thought I ws very innocent, but I was not…. but anyways… what is the use… did not do any thing then…. dham nahi the tab… chalo those are the days….. but my sister….. my parents and brothers were so loose… she was talking with everyone/went movies/eat out/went on trips…… she even loved a guy and got married….. ofcourse I had to fly from US to convince my parents…:angry: not fair….. past is past….

even now… I love to wear nice elegant jewlries.. very sexy saree blouses which my husband keeps covering my back with my saree palu….again and again… until I really get mad at him pretty salwars etc… and have fun…. buying beautiful dresses for my daughters. dressing up them and go like pretty dolls for the party, where everyone comes to us to compliment….

I have so many of my childhood friends there in CA…. but whenevr I go… I am always busy with my husband’s family…. never get time to go and visit them,,, always talk over the phone.. I felt very bad for talking about my husband’s personal stuff. I felt I was being very insenstive/mean and heartless person. Ofcourse.. whe u listen to old hindi songs we do become emotinal for some songs… and my husband is not any different…. yeah!!! maybe he is a little different but he is a very good man.
Radhika, same here yaar… my husband works 13- 15 hrs a day and so even though I complain here… I really appreciate him for taking good care of us and having given us a good life… by working so hard. he even works during weekends…. cannot complain on that… since I am not helping him financialy at all…. I don’t feel like asking his help… I do it all… whether he does or not, and I like to do it… bcos…. I can do them in my way

Rubina…. dekh saree is a sexy outfit and its all how you ware it. You can wear a fully covered blouse or a wide back neck… depends on ur taste…. Ihave always wore like that and fit fitting salwars/jeans even before marraige… so I don’t feel any diff…. but my husband does feel…. so many men will look at you at the party…. but I tell him” just bcos men look at me… what do they get…. I don’t dress for others… I do it bcos.. I like that way…” I nevr crossed my boundries when I ws young and how do u think I will evr do anything like that now….” he knows…. that… just sometimes insecure… he is become old too… and he is man too…. he might also look at other women… and god knows… what these men think in minds…. anyways…. whatever…..

Radhika, sure yaar. I totally beleive you. But u know… I beleive that after doingso much for your family acrificing your time and everything for them… I feel a wife should be given the freedom to wear her tastes of clothes as long as its decent….. wwhat do you say…. my husband is the same…. works very hard really long hrs…. he really appreciate what I do for the family… he tahnks me everyday at the dinner table for making good dinner for the family and makes sure that our kids accknowledge it….. I don’t feel good.. bcos its my duty as a wife and mother to make sure my family is fed with good healthy food.

Radhika, if they live in silver creek valley, then the public schools are good. I have a friend who lives in that area and her daughter goes to school there.. I think she is in 5-6th grade.

I have no idea about stafford school except that it was started by a bunch of chlger teachers

Soshi…. thank you very much for all your support. I am truely touched. I am the same…. will support and help anybody.. except my husband just kidding.

I shld just stop making things more than they are and start enjoying the life…… but how… with three kids… always in and out…. cooking, cleaning….. running errands…. I forgot…. making teas in btw… just kidding…. look my husband and I do things and balance out our life…… but more physical work I doooooo

Rubina…. you are so lucky yaar to have ahusband like that…. looks like I should send my husband to your house to get some training to atleast hang his clothes to a hanger

I am not that lucky… and I don’t think Iwould have liked that way…. bcos…. I have my way of keeping things and I think I am the best and neat person…. maybe we would have always clashed at each other …. if he got involved in the chores…. I am glad he is out of that…..

That’s why they say.. marriages are made in heaven.. if one spouse is like that…. the other one would be totally oppste. I have not met a couple so far that is both neat and interested in chores….. but I have met people… that are both lazy and their house is such a mess and their kids are more messier I really feel for those kids for not raising them in disipline…. but hey… who am I to comment on that… they don’t think anything wrong in living like that….

Rubina.. yeah its 11:15 pm now…. came back from airport and except for two daughters who are studing for their semsiter exams all the liitle ones are sleeping… and my poor husband is also sleeping… his flight got delayed and he was irritated and pissed at the air system( sorry to use that word… but that’s what he told me ….

what a pathetic and gundi story line… always sending the unmarried/other daughter to her sister’s sasuraal….. not even close to realistic… when Radhika went there ws a meaning for that… to help vish who was careless. but I really enjoyed the story then…. the chemistry btw DEv and Rad was good and romantic ….. but now….its ugly… anyways… whatever

Folks, the total # of comments today is pretty gd given yday’s count which sucked. interestingly n in a funny way, 95% of todays comments had nothing to do with the show. now thts wht i call mindblowing, fantastic, superb, fantafabulous kind of chatting.

u r lucky, that your hubby can cook. When I was in DE he had 2 b in NJ, and the day I came back, he had a 3 course meal prep, starting with soup, itni Mirchi(he loves hot food), and kept eating. On the tble he wrote to suzy with love.Thats why Ive decided 2 keep him, Ha,Ha,.
Netra child dress the way u want 2, if u look good, youll feel gd. Whenever I come downstairs aftr getting ready , I can see it in his eyes, feels good. U have to let your hubby know that u need this FROM HIM, especially.

Hi Guys, back agn.
Want 2 make it short everytime so that I dont lose my write ups.
rubina, guess what, Ive loved dancing since childhood, and thats wht I wanted 2 b, but ended up in a diff prof.Still love 2. I wish I had formal training , and sometimes I wish I cld spend, $months in India every yr and learn, this and Sitar, spking of which, we went 4 Ravi Shankerjis per in Oct. Hes 89, and was wonderful.He was suppossed 2 prfrm with anoushka, who was “ill”‘, and yet his 89 yr old father carried the show. Abt 75% of the crowd were nondesi. Wht aperformance.My hubby was reluctant as it was in a place undergoing construction, but I said were going since it was my dream 2 see him perform, and it might b my last chance, u shld have seen the standic ovations he got.
Rubina, I have 2 see this Dhoom 2, just 4 Hrithik.
I wish I cld see u perform. If u r here plz let me know, and u can stay with us.

forget abt a clean house, I used 2 b that way, but now I think , a messy Home is better.
My neighbors grndaughter , bought cookies tday, and I knew she wanted 2 come in and chat abt college, but her grandmoms house is so immaculate that I get depressed when I come home,but reassure myself that it is lived in, so take it easy on yourself, Sometimes when I see a speck on the tiled flr, I myself become OCD,but I think life is too short, I myself like a clean house, but if its messy, then Im not going 2 kill myself ovr it, I swear I have things growing in my fridge, and these r not bio expts.

Guys,
do u know that Rashika is an xcellent dancer also. Saw her video, and she and her son r gr8 dancers.Chupi rustom. I tell u there is so much talent in this little “family” of ours, that we can put the Vegas performers out of business.
BTw, did u c dance guru,that featured a young dancer,Prachi Shah, she also was good.
Tday I got befriended by 3 new friends and fel so gd. I am so new 2 this comp tech.
Guys dont ever say that u r complaining, u r venting, and its OK.
I know that X and Y chromosomes r diff, and one of these days Im going 2 read,”men r from mars”, book. Vive le difference.
SHubh Ratr, funny its abt 2.15 AM, our time, and were going 2 have 6 inches of snow, starting tmrrw. Its not even winter yet and already I hate it.

this is my last comment, or so I thnk.
yesterday I went 2 our local Indian grocery store, and there r these 2 ladies(very nice and friendly), and standing non stopbhnd the counter in that cold drafty, store(the door is always open).
one of them took a brk and asked me ” chai loge”, and I thought of u Nethra, felt humbled that I should have brought them hot tea.Seeing them wrking 4 their fam, really put things in perspective 4 me. What a culture we have, always thinking of others, isnt that like u Nethra and the rest of CB-ites.
